Application Process
Candidates must apply online at the newly launched website: https://ssc.gov.in or through the mySSC mobile app.
Steps to Apply:
- Complete the One-Time Registration (OTR) on the new SSC website.
- Fill out the SSC CGL 2025 application form using your OTR credentials.
- Pay the application fee.
- Upload the required documents and photo using live camera capture.
- Submit and save a copy of the final application form.
Note: Aadhaar-based authentication is encouraged for ease and accuracy during verification.
Application Fee
- ₹100/- for General/OBC/EWS male candidates.
- Free for SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-servicemen and all women candidates.
- Fee can be paid via UPI, debit/credit cards, net banking.
Post Details & Pay Levels
Group B & Group C posts are offered under various pay levels:
- Level-7 (₹44,900 – ₹1,42,400):
Assistant Section Officer, Income Tax Inspector, Enforcement Officer, etc. - Level-6 (₹35,400 – ₹1,12,400):
Executive Assistant, Divisional Accountant, Sub-Inspector (NIA), etc. - Level-5 (₹29,200 – ₹92,300):
Auditor, Accountant, Junior Accountant, etc. - Level-4 (₹25,500 – ₹81,100):
Tax Assistant, Postal Assistant, UDCs, etc.
Candidates can prioritize post preferences while applying, but final allocation will be based on merit, eligibility, and vacancy availability.
Educational Qualification
As on 01 August 2025:
- For most posts: Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
- For Junior Statistical Officer (JSO):
- Bachelor’s Degree with 60% in Math in 12th, or
- Degree with Statistics as a subject.
- For Statistical Investigator Grade-II:
- Bachelor’s Degree with Statistics studied across all 3 years.
Final year students can apply, but must obtain qualifications by 01 August 2025.
Age Limit & Relaxation
The age limit varies by post:
- 18–27 years: Tax Assistant, Auditor, UDC, etc.
- 20–30 years: CBI Sub Inspector, ASO in MEA/Railways, etc.
- 18–32 years: JSO
Age Relaxation:
- OBC: 3 years
- SC/ST: 5 years
- PwBD (UR): 10 years
- Ex-Servicemen: 3 years after service deduction
- Widows/Divorced Women (UR): Up to 35 years

The SSC CGL 2025 exam will be conducted in two tiers—both Computer-Based:

- Second correction: ₹500
